Claude for Excel is an add-in on the Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. It opens in a sidebar next to your workbook, reads your sheets, writes real formulas, creates new sheets and tells you what it could not fix.

You describe what you want in plain language. That's why the people who gain the most are often the ones who avoid Excel. If pivot tables and SUMIFS never quite stuck, most of the reason to learn them is gone.

The time comes back on repeated work. Once Claude has built a report you're happy with, type /skillify in the same conversation. Claude drafts a skill, you review it and save it.

Next month, you pick the skill, for example monthly-sales-report, add ‘November”, and the report comes back built the same way. The first build takes a conversation. Every build after that takes a sentence.
