Hello AI Enthusiast,
This is the short version of a longer blog article. You can read the full post here.
Two jobs that used to need a specialist
Every Monday, someone on your team exports a spreadsheet, rebuilds the same report and sends it round. Somewhere else, a short explainer video sits in the backlog because it would cost a designer a week.
On 8 October, Anthropic added two new artifact types to Claude, and both of those jobs now start with a sentence.
What changed
Claude Dashboards connects to your company's data, such as a warehouse or your CRM. It builds live charts from a question you ask in plain language. Each chart shows when its data was last refreshed.
Claude Motion turns your own content into a short animation you can download as an MP4. It builds the video as code that moves your text, charts and images, so nothing on screen is invented. The numbers are the ones you supplied.
Both are in beta, and each has its own plan requirements.
The one habit that matters
Claude writes a database query for every chart it builds, and you can open it to see exactly what was counted. If it counted the wrong thing, you say so in the chat and Claude fixes it.
That minute of checking is the step most people skip. A wrong number in a clean chart is more convincing than a wrong number in a spreadsheet.
We tested Motion ourselves. It took two or three rounds of edits and one afternoon to get a 66-second video.

We cover how to build each one step by step and the prompts we'd start from for sales, marketing, HR, finance and leadership. We also cover what to check before you promise a team they can use it on Monday.
